The purpose of Camp ExSTREAM is to empower students by providing them with activities that will enrich, motivate, and inspire them to unlock their fullest potential. In this program campers will take their learning to the extreme. During this 4 week camp, campers will utilize reading skills while engaging in science, technology, engineering, art, and math activities and projects. Student’s will be provided numerous opportunities to enrich their academic skills and empowered to take responsibility for their own learning. Student’s activities include but are not limited to setting personal and academic goals using vision boards, participating in debate teams, researching, developing and presenting ideas, public speaking, etc. Field trips are an essential component of camp ExSTREAM. Field trips allow students to experience learning outside of the classroom and make connections to previously learned concepts.
